...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM AST EARLY THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Rio Grande.
* WHEN...Until 300 AM AST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 156 AM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will
cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain
has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Rio Grande, Loiza, Vieques, La Dolores, Hato Candal, Suarez,
Bartolo and Palmer.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
