...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands.

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
  in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may
  become clogged with debris. Extensive street flooding and flooding
  of creeks and rivers are possible. Soils are more than 90 percent
  saturated in eastern Puerto Rico and the danger of unpredictable
  landslides and mudflows exists.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - An exceptional above normal moisture profile, a lingering
    frontal boundary north of our area, southerly flow that will
    bring up additional moisture combined with an approaching
    tropical wave will create conditions highly conducive to
    flooding with eastern Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands
    expected to receive the major part of the rainfall.
