Lingering moisture from a departing tropical wave will continue to
promote showers and possible isolated thunderstorms into tonight,
producing locally hazardous marine conditions. A surface high
pressure system building over the western into central Atlantic will
then dominate the regional weather pattern, leading to gentle to
moderate east-southeasterly winds for the next few days.
