...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT THROCKMORTON COUNTY THROUGH 200
AM CDT...

At 132 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
The Intersection Of Us-
380 And Highway 222, or near Throckmorton, moving northeast at 65
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Throckmorton, Millers Creek Reservoir, The Intersection Of Us-
183 And Us-283, Elbert, Us-183 Near The Throckmorton-
Baylor County Line, and The Intersection Of Us-380 And Highway 222.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in San Angelo.
