...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 9 PM CDT WEDNESDAY FOR
WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR ALL OF WEST CENTRAL TEXAS...

The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from noon to 9 PM CDT Wednesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no
longer in effect.

* AFFECTED AREA...All of west central Texas

* TIMING...From noon to 9 PM CDT Wednesday.

* WINDS...West 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...10 to 15 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
  quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now or will occur shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low humidity and dry fuels will contribute to
extreme fire behavior.
