...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS
EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR WESTERN PORTIONS
OF THE BIG COUNTRY AND CONCHO VALLEY, AND CROCKETT COUNTY...

* AFFECTED AREA...portions of the Big Country, Concho Valley, and
  Edwards Plateau mainly west of a Throckmorton to Sweetwater to
  Ozona line.

* TIMING...Until 10 PM CDT this evening.

* WINDS...South to southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to
  40 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 17 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
  quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now or will occur shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low humidity and dry fuels will contribute to
extreme fire behavior.
