.DISCUSSION...

Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms moved across, or near,
the fire location earlier this afternoon. As a result, numerous
outflow boundaries were produced across the region. These outflow
boundaries, and any additional boundaries that move through, can
cause significant and erratic wind shifts across the fire location
through the evening hours. Higher humidity values and cooler
temperatures have been observed across the fire location as of 4
PM CDT. We expect the temperatures to climb again for the next
couple of hours, along with falling humidity. However, if another
boundary moves through, this portion of the forecast could change
significantly. Otherwise, scattered thunderstorms remain a
possibility through the evening hours.
