.DISCUSSION...

The combination of very dry air and gusty southwesterly winds
will result in elevated fire weather conditions this afternoon
through late this evening. Minimum relative humidity values will
drop to near 35% by around 4 PM before recovering to around 50%
by around 8PM. 20 foot winds will persist out of the south-
southwest through the remainder of the day, with occasional gusts
of 15-20 mph through the late afternoon and evening. Isolated to
scattered thunderstorms are possible late this evening mainly
after 9 PM and into the overnight hours. Erratic and gusty winds
are likely with any thunderstorm that impacts the fire area.
