Elevated fire weather conditions will persist for northeast
Taylor County through Saturday. Strong south winds will continue
to be expected, especially in the afternoon, with gusts to around
20 mph at times. Hot and dry conditions will continue with high
temperatures around 100 each afternoon. Minimum humidity values
will be around 25 percent on Friday, rising to near 30 percent on
Saturday.
