.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry weather will continue this week with temperatures
above normal. With area vegetation continuing to dry out and
become cured, this will result in elevated fire weather
conditions each day, from the midday through early evening hours.
Minimum relative humidity values will be 15-25% across the
northwestern half to two-thirds of the area this afternoon
through Thursday. For Friday through Sunday, minimum RH is
expected to be 20-25% across nearly all of the Big Country, and
for most of the area west of a Coleman to Sonora line. The 20ft
wind speeds will be mostly from the south at 8-12 mph each day,
with some higher gusts (15-20 mph) possible.
