.DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire weather concerns will prevail through much of the
upcoming week, as the hot and dry conditions continue. Above
normal temperatures in the mid 90 to around 100 will combine with
the lack of rainfall over the last 30+ days, and afternoon
humidity values falling into the 20 to 30% range to create
conditions where wildfires can easily start. South winds will
generally remain at 10 mph or less, but occasional gusts to near
20 mph will create conditions where these wildfires will be more
difficult to control.
