...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  counties, Callahan, Fisher, Jones, Nolan and Taylor.

* WHEN...Until midnight CDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 848 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms across Taylor, Nolan and Jones county moving
    northeast at 35 mph. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to
    begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5
    inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Abilene, Sweetwater, Clyde, Stamford, Anson, Hamlin, Baird,
    Roscoe, Blackwell, Nolan, Merkel, Tye, Tuscola, Hawley,
    Buffalo Gap, Lueders, Trent, Lawn, Noodle and Dyess Afb.
  - This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 232 and 305.

    This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    Texas Avenue at Arnold Boulevard, I-20 Frontage Roads west of
    Clyde, Butternut Underpass, Intersections along Sammons
    Street, Curry Lane from Clack Street to Catclaw Drive,
    Intersections along Buttonwillow Parkway, IH 20 frontage
    roads crossing Towd Creek, IH 20 frontage roads crossing Plum
    Creek, Antilley Rd. crossing Button Willow Creek and FM 89
    crossing Scott Hollow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
