...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  counties, Coke, Nolan, Runnels and Taylor.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 343 PM CDT, radar showed a cluster of thunderstorms with
    very heavy rain over eastern and southern Nolan County. This
    cluster of storms was moving and developing slowly to the
    south. Rainfall of 1 to 2 inches in a short period of time
    will cause minor flooding of low lying and poor drainage
    areas, along with street flooding in the towns of Nolan,
    Maryneal, and possibly Blackwell. Doppler radar indicated
    heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.

    Blackwell, Nolan, Hylton, Maryneal, The Intersection Of
    Highway 70 And Ranch Road 53, Oak Creek Reservoir and Camp
    Butman.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
