...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM CDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  county, Brown.

* WHEN...Until 145 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1041 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Brownwood, Early, Bangs, Blanket, Lake Brownwood State Park,
    Camp Bowie, Lake Brownwood, Lake Brownwood Near Thrifty,
    Byrds, Grosvenor, Zephyr, May, Brookesmith, Owens, Thrifty
    and Indian Creek.
  - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    Good Shephard at 11th, Austin Street at Avenue G, Belle Plain
    at Romines, Cordell at Anderson, Gifford at Beaver, Indian
    Creek at 9th, 4th Street at Wood, Magnolia at Belmeade,
    Willis at Belmeade and Austin Street at Avenue J.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
