...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  county, Runnels.

* WHEN...Until 345 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over
  roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or
  is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 143 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms, with up to 2 inches of rainfall possible.
    Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly in the advisory
    area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Ballinger, Miles, Rowena, Hatchel, Benoit and Ballinger Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
