...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  counties, Mason and San Saba.

* WHEN...Until 1130 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 830 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 0.75 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are
    expected over the area. This additional rain will result in
    minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    San Saba, Richland Springs, Algerita, Cherokee, Sloan,
    Pontotoc, Skeeterville, Chappel, Fredonia, Elm Grove, Hall,
    Harkeyville, Spring Creek, Us-190 Near The Mcculloch-San Saba
    County Line, Locker and Us-190 Near The San Saba-Lampasas
    County Line.
  - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    FM 1030 crossing Wallace Creek, CR 340 crossing Dry Creek, CR
    424 crossing Rough Creek, CR 208 crossing San Saba River, Spy
    Rock crossing, Oak Grove crossing, Old Union crossing San
    Fernando Creek, Old Pontotoc crossing Little Willow Creek,
    Old Union crossing and Hickory Grove crossing Elm Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
