...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  counties, Brown and Coleman.

* WHEN...Until 400 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 154 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding.
  - Rainfall amounts of up to 1.5 inches are possible over the
    advisory area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Brownwood, Early, Santa Anna, Bangs, Blanket, Trickham,
    Brookesmith, Winchell, Lake Brownwood, Rockwood, Camp Bowie,
    Gouldbusk, Voss, Zephyr, Leaday, Whon, Shields, Indian Creek,
    Us-283 Near The Mcculloch-Coleman County Line and Fisk.
  - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    Good Shephard at 11th, Austin Street at Avenue G, Cordell at
    Anderson, Magnolia at Belmeade, Gifford at Beaver, Indian
    Creek at 9th, 4th Street at Wood, Belle Plain at Romines,
    Willis at Belmeade and Austin Street at Avenue J.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
