The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Jones County in west central Texas...
  Shackelford County in west central Texas...

* Until 515 PM CDT.

* At 317 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain nearly stationary from Avoca in Jone County to near Ft
  Griffin in Shackelford County. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
  fallen with another 2 inches possible in the warned area. Flash
  flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Stamford, Albany, Lueders, Fort Griffin, Avoca, Mccarty Lake, Big
  Country Baptist Assembly and The Intersection Of Us-180 And Farm
  Road 600.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
