The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern Brown County in west central Texas...
  Southeastern Coleman County in west central Texas...

* Until 330 PM CDT.

* At 126 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms
  producing heavy rain across eastern Coleman and western Brown
  County. These storms are drifting slowly towards Brownwood. Up to
  2 inches of rain has fallen in some areas. Additional rainfall
  amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
  flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Brownwood, Coleman, Early, Santa Anna, Bangs, Trickham, Lake
  Brownwood, Lake Brownwood Near Thrifty, Brookesmith and Thrifty.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
