...FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY FOR IN AND AROUND THE CITY OF OZONA AND INTO
THE SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL PORTIONS OF CROCKETT COUNTY...

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM CDT THIS
AFTERNOON FOR SOUTHEASTERN CROCKETT COUNTY...

At 137 PM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3.5 and 9 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

  FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for In and around the city of Ozona and into
  the southwest and south central portions of Crockett County. This
  is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER
         GROUND NOW! Life threatening flash flooding of low water
         crossings, small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways,
         streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Ozona and The Intersection Of Ranch Road 2083 And Highway 405.

This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 356 and 370.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
crossings along County Road 401.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to higher ground now! This is an extremely dangerous and
life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are
fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
