...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM CDT EARLY THIS
MORNING FOR EAST CENTRAL TOM GREEN COUNTY...

At 1202 AM CDT, Local law enforcement reported street flooding in
San Angelo. Even through only light rain was falling across the
area, flooding is still possible through 2 AM.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  San Angelo, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Lake Nasworthy and O.C.
  Fisher Reservoir.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
College Hills and Millbrook, Southwest Blvd and Loop 306, Howard and
Webster, Jackson From Knickerbocker to South Bryant, Parkwood and
Lindenwood, 1500 Block of Spaulding, Sul Ross At Red Arroyo
Crossing, Huntington and Sunset, Huntington and Sunset and 300 block
of North Archer.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
