Most areas will see rain totals of one half to 1 inch across the area, with pockets of heavier rainfall of 1 to 2 inches. This will cause some flooding of city streets and low water crossings. In addition, one round of storms late tonight and into the early morning hours may become particularly heavy and slow moving, with some potential for totals of 3 to 5 inches across a handful of counties. If this heavier band develops, more widespread flash flooding will become much more likely in that area. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop. && $$ 7
