As this disturbance continues west, we may see an isolated thunderstorm across the southeastern portions of our area this afternoon and evening. It will also bring in some cloud cover across the I-10 corridor, which will keep temperatures a bit cooler across those locations. Otherwise, the heat will remain the main issue across the Big Country as highs will remain in the upper 90s to 101 degrees. && .LONG TERM... (Sunday through Friday) Issued at 1241 AM CDT Sat Jul 26 2025 Expect hot and dry conditions through next week. Temperatures will stay mainly below 100 for early next week, mid to upper 90s for highs. An upper level ridge will move back west over the Southern Plains next week and with warmer temperatures, a few degrees over 100 across mainly the Big Country next Wednesday and Thursday.
