A dry forecast will continue into Friday, as high pressure
extends across the area from the east. The only exception
will be this afternoon, where an isolated shower or storm is
possible across the western Big Country. Otherwise, temperatures
on Friday will be similar to today, with highs across the Big
Country and northwestern Concho Valley in the mid to upper 90s,
and upper 80s to lower 90s elsewhere. Winds will remain light for
the most part, but a few gusts between 15 and 20 mph will be
possible this afternoon and again Friday afternoon. Lows tonight
will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

(Friday night through next Thursday)

Upper level ridging will dominate the weather across West Central
Texas this weekend into at least the first half of next week. This
will result in dry conditions and warm temperatures. Highs will
generally be in the mid to upper 90s across the northwest Concho
Valley and Big Country, with upper 80s to mid 90s across most of the
rest of the area. No rain is forecast through the middle of next
week.

from the S to SSW direction through 00Z Sat, with wind speeds
