...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southern Rusk and
northwestern Nacogdoches Counties through 515 PM CDT...

At 426 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
New Salem, or 17 miles northeast of Rusk, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Minden around 450 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Mount Enterprise,
Cushing, Lawsonville, Glenfawn, Laneville, Brachfield, and Reklaw.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
