...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL CADDO PARISH AND
NORTHEASTERN HARRISON AND EASTERN MARION COUNTIES UNTIL 615 PM CDT...

At 534 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Oil City, or 25 miles south of Atlanta, moving southwest at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Vivian, Oil City, Mooringsport, Smithland, Gray, Uncertain and
  Caddo Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
