...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL SABINE PARISH AND
SOUTHERN SABINE AND SOUTHEASTERN SAN AUGUSTINE COUNTIES UNTIL 930 PM
CDT...

At 847 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15
miles southeast of Hemphill, or 46 miles southwest of Natchitoches,
moving southwest at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Hemphill, Pineland, Columbus, Fairmount, Yellowpine and McElroy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
