...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN WEBSTER...NORTHWESTERN
DE SOTO...SOUTHERN CADDO...SOUTHERN BOSSIER PARISHES IN NORTHWESTERN
LOUISIANA AND NORTHEASTERN PANOLA COUNTIES THROUGH 900 PM CDT...

At 802 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Eastwood to 8 miles southeast of Carthage.
Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Deberry, Keat Chie, Haughton, Ferguson, Curtis, Front, Spring Ridge,
Stonewall, Fillmore, Bodcau, Kingston, Plum Orchard Landing, Koran,
Eastwood, Doyline, Shreveport, Midyett, Gilark, Kickapoo, and
Keithville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for northwestern
Louisiana...and northeastern Texas.
