...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MCCURTAIN COUNTY
THROUGH 115 PM CDT...

At 1248 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles east of Nashoba, or 17 miles east of Clayton, moving southeast
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bethel, Battiest, Pickens, and Smithville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 PM CDT for
southeastern Oklahoma.
