...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL NACOGDOCHES AND NORTH
CENTRAL ANGELINA COUNTIES UNTIL 645 PM CDT...

At 612 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Huntington, or 7 miles east of Lufkin, moving north at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Huntington, Woden, Melrose, Martinsville,
  Douglass, Appleby, Redland and Homer.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
