...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN SABINE PARISH AND
CENTRAL SABINE COUNTY UNTIL 7 PM CDT...

At 628 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles southeast of Milam, or 38 miles southeast of Center, moving
west at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
  Milam, Hemphill, Pineland, Yellowpine and Bronson.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

If on or near Toledo Bend Texas side, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
