...NWS Meteorologists Currently Surveying Storm Damage in Areas of
Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas...

The National Weather Service office in Shreveport, LA is currently
conducting storm surveys for the areas covering parts of Northeast
Texas as well as Southwest Arkansas. These surveys are in relation
to severe thunderstorms that moved through the area from April 2nd
through April 5th, 2025.

A final assessment including results of these surveys are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement
later this week after all surveys have been completed.

The storm survey information will also be available on our website
at http://www.weather.gov/shv
