Right now we see 45 to 65 mph winds just a couple of thousand feet up and soon heating will mix some of these gusty winds down to the surface. S/SW winds of 10-20 mph with gust as high as 30 t0 40 mph later this morning abd will relax a little during the afternoon. Enough to see record high temps under the upper level ridging aloft, which is suppressing any chance for rain. It also compresses the air, which helps to heat it up toward standing records for the date. Abundant rainfall lately has our area in a safer place with all green growth now across the region. Our Min RH today will be around 40%, also helping to keep any wildfire threat better in check despite the winds. .THURSDAY...
