.DISCUSSION...
Good evening, It will be mild to start the day on Monday with
temperatures around 77 degrees around 8 am before reaching a
maximum of around 97 degrees by the afternoon hours. RH values
will be around 90 percent at 8 am before reaching a minimum of
around 50 percent by the afternoon. Winds are expected to
generally be light through the day Monday, however, with showers
and thunderstorms possible during the afternoon there could be
some gusty and erratic winds near any of the stronger
thunderstorms as well as from any outflow boundaries that may
develop. Winds will start out of the northwest during the early
morning hours, shifting to the north around noon and then to the
northeast by the late afternoon and into the evening. Mixing
heights will start out in the morning around 300 feet but during
the afternoon will be around 6700 feet. Transport winds will be
out of the northwest in the morning around 7 mph, shifting to the
northeast around 6-8 mph later in the morning and into the
afternoon hours.
