.DISCUSSION...
Dry and warm conditions settle into the region for today and will
continue into early Wednesday. Min RH values today will range from
around 25 to 35 percent across the region. Winds will be out of
the southwest throughout the day today with sustained winds around
5 to 10 mph with gusts ranging from around 10 to 20 mph, the
stronger gusts are expected across our east Texas zones. Showers
and thunderstorms return to the area by Wednesday afternoon.
Looking ahead, extremely gusty conditions are expected on Friday
as our next storm system moves through that could raise some fire
weather concerns.
