.DISCUSSION...
A few showers and thunderstorms will still be possible for our
southermost fire districts including the Angelina National
Forest and Toledo Bend area this afternoon and Saturday, but
otherwise the ArkLaTex looks to remain quiet and warmer into
this weekend. Mixing heights tomorrow afternoon will climb to
between 6000 and 8000 ft, while dry air enters the region and
relative humidity values drop into the 30 to 40 percent range.
Northeast winds will become light and variable overnight before
increasing to sustained speeds of not much more than 5 mph
during the daytime hours.
