.DISCUSSION...
Fair weather cumulus for all of our districts and zones again
today with little change for us in this late summery pattern. High
pressure aloft is expanding from Texas into Louisiana over the
next few days with light and variable winds early and then
generally a southerly component for the afternoons with heating
and weak flow off the Gulf. Southwest appears in the offing for
Friday by lunchtime as our morning lows warm a bit. Highs will
keep to the low to mid 90s and while not a zero chance, shower
coverage in anything more than very isolated will have to wait for
the season change this weekend. Min RH appears to hover in the
40-50% range for the days ahead. Early Sunday morning officially
begins with the Fall Equinox at 7:43am and our next cool front
will edge our way early next week. We will see a chance for some
widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms at that time and
into the middle of next week.
