.DISCUSSION...
Very hot temperatures will persist for a few more days before some
slight relief from the heat arrives for the late week timeframe.
In the meantime, look for temperatures to surge well into the mid
and upper 90s to lower 100s through the middle of this week with
only isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms each
afternoon. By late Wednesday into Thursday, a rare summer cool
front will slowly advance southward into our fire districts and
bring increasing rain chances through the end of the week. Before
then, expect mostly light and variable winds with minimum RH
values generally ranging between 35-50 percent each afternoon.
