.DISCUSSION...
Increasing cloudiness today with highs not much warmer than
yesterday as a result. The NE winds at 5 to 10 will continue
across the Four-State area today and then become lighter and
somewhat variable. This cold air mass is anchored over Missouri
and will drift toward Ohio by late Saturday. As the air mass
moves away from our area over the next couple of days, we will see
a zonal W to E flow aloft, mostly passing clouds. Then a weak
disturbance will move over the plains and drop over Oklahoma. This
will present a brief window of SW flow early Sunday with
scattered shower mainly along the coast, but some activity may
extend up to I-20. Amounts will be light and the real warm-up
begins as it leaves the area. We will be warming low into the 50s
and high into the 70s by early next week.
