Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Arkansas...
Northwest Louisiana...East Texas...and Extreme Southeast Oklahoma
National Weather Service Shreveport LA
309 PM CDT Fri Jun 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...

We are locked in a NW flow pattern now with a near miss of
convection this morning that settled along I-30 and washed out.
The rain stopped at the state line of AR/LA and additional
nocturnal activity is expected with this evening and the next
couple of overnights with a cold front arriving Monday afternoon.
The front will stall and we will continue to see a wet forecast
through much of next week the way it looks from right now.
