.DISCUSSION...
Upper ridging to remain over the fire districts over the next few
days. So, expect dry weather, with hot and humid conditions.
However, there is a slight chance for some rain Thursday afternoon
across portions of our Northeast and Central Louisiana zones. A
Heat Advisory is in effect today through 8 PM for all of our fire
districts, with more advisories likely this week, as highs will
range from the mid 90s to 100 degrees. Mixing heights will climb
above 4500 ft each day, with min RH values generally between 40
to 50 percent. Winds will remain light and variable, near 5 mph.
