.DISCUSSION...
Summer rolls on with well above average temperatures through
midweek. We will ease back a tad on highs by Friday and the
afternoon min RHs will be falling off, bringing in a 20% range by
Friday as a weak front and high pressure air mass push westward
across the MS River overnight and through Wednesday. Slight
chances for showers and isolated thunder will be in our eastern
parishes this afternoon. Perhaps a few rain areas along I-49 for
our Wednesday as the drier air mass continue to push westward. In
addition, this will nudge the upper heat ridge westward too, and
weaken it`s strength by the weekend. We loose the slight rain
chances after tomorrow until early next week as the arriving dry
air is soon replaced with more muggy tropical air, circulating
under and upper low over the Gulf. This low is in in western
Atlantic now and will move over FL by Friday and into the Gulf
this weekend.
