.DISCUSSION...
Sunshine is great this time of year and is taking it`s sweet time
scouring the Red River Valley for both Shreveport and Texarkana with
chilly mid 40s. Elsewhere, a range of 50s and lowering RH is
widespread. The southerly winds have brought in the warmer Gulf
where near shore water temps remain in the 70s. High pressure is
well to our east now and while more low clouds may prevail at
daybreak, the fog should be much less of a problem in the warmer
40s to start the day. Highs around 60 again, but another shift to
from brisk SW to NW in the late morning and early afternoon. So
maybe not the best conditions in these shifting the winds, but the
warmer trend and southerly winds will soon return for Friday (SW)
and Saturday (SE). Then another "big chill" air mass will be backing
winds late Saturday to NE overnight. Temps will be going back
below average with just a slight chance for wetting rainfall this
weekend, but much better for chances to get wet by Tuesday as the
Gulf moisture overrides the chill on the surface.
