Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Arkansas...
Northwest Louisiana...East Texas...and Extreme Southeast Oklahoma
National Weather Service Shreveport LA
230 PM CDT Tue May 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Widespread strong to severe thunderstorms will move across the
fire districts today. Behind the storms, saturated grounds and
light winds will lead to fog development overnight, with fog
expected to lift by mid morning Wednesday. Slight rain chances
will remain for areas south of Interstate 20, but the districts should
generally see dry conditions for most of the day. Winds will
remain light, with mixing heights struggling to reach 3000 ft. Min
RH values will range from 55 to 65 percent. /20/
