.DISCUSSION...
Drier but still hot conditions will prevail across area fire
districts today before showers and thunderstorms return on a
daily basis starting Sunday. Minimum relative humidity values
will fall into the 40 to 50 percent range, while mixing heights
climb to between 5000 and 7000 ft. Southerly winds will reach
maximum sustained speeds of 5 to 10 mph with gusts of up to
15 mph, particularly across east Texas.
