...The National Weather Service in Shreveport LA has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

  Sulphur River Near Talco affecting Morris, Bowie, Red River,
  Franklin and Titus Counties.

For the Sulphur River...including Talco...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sulphur River near Talco.

* WHEN...From late tonight to late Friday evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 16.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The Sulphur River near Talco is expected to rise
    above the 20 foot flood stage just after midnight tonight to
    a crest of 23.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then
    fall below flood stage early Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    23.0 feet on 11/01/2015.
