...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Arkansas...

  Ouachita River At Felsenthal Lock and Dam affecting Ashley and
  Union Counties.

For the Ouachita River...including Felsenthal Lock and Dam...
Moderate flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Ouachita River at Felsenthal Lock and Dam.

* WHEN...From Tuesday evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 70.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding of the Felsenthal
  National Wildlife Refuge will continue for several days. Secondary
  roadways along the river bottom will be inundated and closed.
  At 81.0 feet, Moderate flooding of county roadways and bridges
  will continue for several days. Detours are necessary and travel
  in and around the area will be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 67.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 65.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    Tuesday evening and continue rising to 82.0 feet Saturday,
    April 19.
  - Flood stage is 70.0 feet.
