...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM CDT THIS
EVENING FOR SOUTHWESTERN BOSSIER AND SOUTHWESTERN CADDO PARISHES AND
SOUTHEASTERN PANOLA COUNTY...

At 850 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported water over roads from
thunderstorms across much of Shreveport. Between 1 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen in a short period of time. Flash flooding is
already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Shreveport, Bossier City, Greenwood, Fosters, Spring Ridge,
  Keithville, Forbing, Midyett, Front, Deadwood, Barksdale Air Force
  Base, Ferguson and Red Chute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
