...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Arkansas, including the following
  counties, Howard, Little River and Sevier, southeast Oklahoma,
  including the following county, McCurtain, and northeast Texas,
  including the following county, Red River.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - While much of the rain has ended across the Watch area,
    creeks, streams, and rivers continue to rise due to excessive
    runoff from the earlier rainfall totals that ranged from 3 to
    5 inches, with isolated higher amounts up to 6 inches. Thus,
    flooding will remain possible through late afternoon across
    the Watch area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
