...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 PM PDT...

For the following areas...
Coastal Waters from San Mateo Point to the Mexican Border and out to
30 nm...
Waters from San Mateo point to the Mexican Border Extending 30 to 60
nm out including San Clemente Island...

At 245 PM PDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 34 nm west of Ocean
Beach, or 34 nm west of La Jolla, moving north at 25 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
